The Frenchie is considered to be a simplified version of the Pheasant Tail Nymph and is among the most popular nymph styles in European style fly fishing or "EuroNymphing".
The Frenchie is now widely used in North America and when combined with a hotspot has proven to be one of the best producing nymphs in competition and recreational fly fishing.
This version of the Frenchie is tied on a 45 degree barbless hook, utilizes one of three different hotspot options and sinks like a rock with it's matte black tungsten bead.
